Celebrating our Emerald Anniversary!
20 years of impact and a peak into the future
We are so excited to announce that tickets are now available for our 20th Anniversary Celebration Gala!
This event promises to be a night of connecting with friends, cohort members, facilitators and community members. We’ll have lots of time to socialize, celebrate, raise a little money and recognize some people who are doing great work to make our community more accessible for all.
The 20th Anniversary gemstone is Emerald. A nod to our beautiful state and the growth we’ve achieved. You are encouraged to accessorize with your jewels, gems and costume jewelry to celebrate this fun night. There will be a prize for the best bling.
I believe it is no accident that we will celebrate 20 years together 21 days before Wicked: For Good (part 2) is released. Whether you appreciate musical theater or not, the name aligns with Leadership Eastside because the message is powerful:
“Who can say if I’ve been changed for the better, but, because I knew you, I have been changed for good.”
I feel this deeply every time I gather with alumni, volunteers and supporters.
We are also bringing back awards to recognize those people in our community that do the tireless work of bringing people together and imagining new and more equitable solutions. (Think LENi-style for those who were around in 2011 - 2013! Note: If you are a LENi award winner, we hope you will join us!)
Because we are Leadership Eastside, we are doing things a bit differently! As usual, we will have early bird tickets – buy early and save money! We also want to make this about community! So – gather your friends. If you buy a whole table together, tickets are discounted even more! We want to encourage you to reconnect with your classmates, former board members and friends to make this night special! You can let us know if you would like to be a table coordinator! We will send you a code to share, and your friends can purchase their tickets at a discount. Or, if you are feeling generous, feel free to purchase a whole table for your guests! The goal is to fill the room with the Leadership Eastside Community! Get your ticket now.
