Approximately every other month, LE convenes a forum focused on a topic of rising interest and importance to the Eastside community. Leadership Enrichment Program participants, LE Network members, and interested members of the community come together to gain an insider’s perspective and engage in addressing an issue that is, or soon will be in the news.

The forums not only feature key stakeholders, but are designed to actively and meaningfully involve all attendees.

Each February, LE invites businesses, non-profits, and government agencies to provide information on the health of the community. This information is coalesced into the Annual State of the Eastside Address, a comprehensive overview of where the Eastside stands as a community. During this popular luncheon, key leaders come together to assess the community’s progress and identify areas where improvement is critical.

The State of the Eastside Address and luncheon help attendees view the wellbeing of the community through the lens of seven elements of a health community:

• Basic Needs

• Economy

• Education

• Health and Wellness

• Environment

• Neighborhoods and Community Building

LE provides the Eastside’s only comprehensive compellation of information, issues and community trends. The annual State of the Eastside Report includes the State of the Eastside Address, aggregated information from the business, non-profit, and government sectors and community leader feedback on how the Eastside is performing in the seven areas of a healthy community.
