How much time does LE’s three-year program really take?
Year One:
Two-day kickoff in September
One day a month seminar October through May
Total days away from work in Year One = 10
Year Two:
Quarterly seminars (three hours in length)
Total days away from work in Year Two = 1.5 days
Year Three:
Quarterly seminars (three hours in length)
Total days away from work in Year Three = 1.5 days
Year One is the most intensive. It enables participants to connect with their “place” and each other which well prepares them for their regional community service project in year two and then their personal community leadership action plan in year three.
